COMPREHENSIVE PSYCHOSOCIAL ASSESSMENT

Every patient participates in an initial comprehensive evaluation with a master’s level clinician which typically lasts 1 ½-2 hours to determine their areas of strength and the areas in which they may need improvement and support. After the assessment, each patient is assigned to a therapist whose expertise matches the unique needs revealed during the assessment, and groups and other interventions are added to the treatment plan to address the issues identified in the assessment. For example, a patient who has PTSD may be provided EMDR or CPT to address symptoms of trauma.
