COMPREHENSIVE PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATION AND ADDICTION MEDICATION ASSESSMENT

Every patient participates in an initial psychiatric evaluation which typically lasts 45 minutes to one hour to review physical and psychiatric health and to provide psychoeducation and information about possible addiction and psychiatric medications that might support recovery. If the medical staff member and the patient agree to incorporate medication into the treatment plan, follow-up medication monitoring visits will be scheduled to monitor medication response and to adjust medications as needed.
