Dr. Jared Morgenstern, obtained his doctorate in social work at the University of Pennsylvania where his research focused on the examination of ambivalence in clinical relationships and its impact on patient outcomes. He received his MA in Social Work from The Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, and his BA in Psychology from SUNY Geneseo.

Dr. Morgenstern is an expert in the application of a several therapeutic techniques including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness techniques. He is also trained in trauma interventions including Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) and Attachment-Focused EMDR. Before coming to Wholeview he has provided treatment in outpatient, intensive outpatient, and inpatient levels of care. He is skilled at working with adolescents, young adults, and families to address issues related to substance use in both group and individual therapy.
