About Wholeview Go
For people struggling with opioid use disorder (OUD) and alcohol use disorder (AUD), many providers recommend a comprehensive approach to treatment combining therapy, medications, and other evidence-based offerings.
But maybe you don’t want all of that?
For example, you may:
- feel you need to prioritize your time for work, family, or other pressing needs
- live far from a treatment center or lack transportation to access treatment
- feel therapy will be ineffective or you’ve had less-than-helpful experiences with medical providers in the past
- want to avoid a lengthy assessment
- want a medication-only approach, without individual, group, or family therapy
- believe complete abstinence will not work for you
The Wholeview Go program addresses these speific concerns. Our supportive clinicians will quickly evaluate you and prescribe buprenorphine (Suboxone) or other addiction medications such as Naltrexone, Acamprosate, and Disulfiram. We will coordinate your medication management,
Instead of hindering access to care, we created this “low-threshold” approach to remove barriers that may have kept you from starting treatment in the past.

About medications
Buprenorphine (also known by its brand name Suboxone) is one of three medications approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) treatment. Research shows that swift initiation of buprenorphine can improve health outcomes by reducing opioid use, decreasing the risk of overdose death, increasing retention in treatment programs, reducing transmission of infectious diseases (HIV and HCV), and reducing overdose rates.
Research for alcohol use disorder also supports the use of medications such as Naltrexone, Acamprosate, and Disulfiram as an effective component of recovery for many patients. Unlike some prescribers, we offer flexible dosing and eliminate arbitrary tapering.
Options to expand
We recognize that for some individuals, immediate access to medications can be life-saving. We remain patient with you as you contemplate your options and decisions. You will receive safe, non-judgmental care. We provide education about treatment and we’re ready to offer answers to any questions you have. Drop-in groups are offered to provide you with extra support, but attendance is not required.
If, after getting to know us, you want to explore additional treatment options, we are happy to talk with you about the whole-person care model provided through our Wholeview Direct program.
