Alma Erickson, CASAC-P

Alma Erickson, MA, CASAC-P  is trained in providing treatment to individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health diagnoses. She graduated cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a BS in Psychobiology. She has a Masters degree in General Psychology with a Concentration in Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling from The New School for Social Research. She is credentialed as a CASAC-P.
She utilizes an integrative approach to counseling, involving multiple evidence-based modalities such as Mentalization, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Supportive Expressive Therapy (SET). She is also experienced in Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT).
