How we Help

Comprehensive psychosocial assessment

Comprehensive psychosocial assessment

For Wellness

Once a patient is approved for program participation by our intake coordinators, he/she/they is scheduled for a comprehensive evaluation with one of our doctoral-level clinicians. This virtual session typically lasts 90 to 120 minutes. The interview focuses on the patient’s history and current needs. The clinician also seeks to identify each person’s areas of strength as well as areas where they may need improvement and support. After the assessment, each patient is aligned with a therapist whose expertise matches the unique needs revealed during the assessment.

The therapist co-creates the treatment plan with the patient using shared decision making. The plan may include individual psychotherapy, family or group therapy, and other interventions to address all the patient’s needs. For example, a patient who has PTSD may be provided individual EMDR or Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) in combination with the Safe and Secure Group to address symptoms of trauma.
