Benjamin Zelinski, MSW is a New York State Credentialed Alcoholism & Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC). Benjamin has many years of experience providing treatment for substance use disorders in OASAS-certified programs utilizing various evidence-based approaches. He graduated from the University at Buffalo, SUNY with a Master’s in Social Work and a Bachelor’s in Psychology.

Benjamin served as an Adjunct Psychology Instructor at the North Country Community College in Saranac Lake where he taught Introduction to Psychology. He also has extensive experience working as a resource navigator and has provided health coaching, brief health interventions, and wrap-around care coordination services including referrals to multiple outside agencies to obtain assistance with insurance and housing. He uses a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach to work collaboratively with clients and to advocate for their treatment and recovery-based needs.
